Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk - Open All Year- Santa Cruz, California

     The Santa Cruz Main Beach has been welcoming vacationers since the mid-1800s when bathhouses and tent camps lined the waterfront. The original Neptune Casino,open for only 22 months and destroyed by fire, re-opened in 1907 as the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk featuring various games and amusements. Seymour Marine Discovery Center- Open All Year- Santa Cruz, California

     Sitting at the edge of an ocean bluff, overlooking the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, is the Seymour Marine Discovery Center. Its' focus is to provide public education and awareness programs about the role of scientific research in understanding an conservation of the world's oceans.

Tours of the Monarch Butterfly Grove - November Weekends - Natural Bridges State Park, Santa Cruz, California

    Natural Bridges State Beach is world-renowned for its yearly migration of monarch butterflies. Visitors can see thousands during the butterflies' peak season.
